Brighton Place Rhythm words from the artist:-

Early in the summer last year, I sat with my daughter outside the bakery, with coffee and pastries, and we sketched, listened to the busker and watched the world go by. It was the beginning of summer and the festival was about to start.

Stuck at home this spring I was looking back through my sketch book and I remembered this time. I longed to be back in the buzz of the people, with all the life around, music, sunshine.

That was when I decided to draw Brighton Place again. With my sketches, photographs and memories, and a little bit of imagination, as always!

Painting this bright and sunny scene brought back the feeling of sitting there. Coffee by my side, music playing, but not such a nice pastry!
